At number one the three mile island nuclear reactor nearly melted down in 1976 In Harris Pennsilvania no one died fortunatly but it was still named one of americas biggest nuclear accidents. At number two Minamita disease which was a result of industrial poisoning of Minamata Bay by the Chisso Corporation before 1956. Because of wastewater pollution from plastic  large amounts of mercury and other metals whent into the water where fish and shellfish that was part of the peoples diet. Thousands of people have suffered over many years and died from the disease. Three was the seveso dioxin cloud in July of 1976 an explosion a chemical plant released a cloud of dioxin that settled on the nearest town. Four the aral sea that is now a massive dessert. Five Tokaimura Nuclear plant where one worker was knocked unconscious and the others were nauseated,with their hands and faces were burned. Two died and hundreds were exposed to many levels of radiation. At six the Exxon Valdez an oil tanker ran aground on Bligh Reef in the pristine waters of Alaska. Seven was the love canal that sat atop 21,000 tons of toxic industrial waste that had been buried underground. Eight was the Kuwaiti oil fires. Nine was Bhopal where a Union Carbide pesticide plant in Bhopal, India, resulted in 45 tons of poisonous methyl isocyanate that went lose from the facility where thousands died in minutes. And One was Chernobyl, which was the worst  nuclear-power-plant disaster in history when the plant exploded sending a huge amount of radiation into the atmosphere.

These are a hporrible tragities and it seems as though they will never stop even when we want it to the most lets hope the world can at least recover from all the pollution where doing to it.

Last spring legislator created a law that says ir a district fails to to make a “reasonable process in a resonable time” to approve thier students process in thier school work that district will have its accredidation removed. Accreditation is the state boards way of seeing if  a district is meeting state standards. It also had to deal with how many books were in the library and if teachers were certified basically how well students achieve. Under law school districts have to sign  a contract with the board to meet standards, goals, and requirements in six years and the  attendance rate, graduation rate, suspension rate, and scores on state assessments all will be checked too. The state department of education will keep watch over the districts that signed the contract and they will  provide technical assistance and place a district on probation if they fail thier accreditation can be taken .some people say thar even if they did that the local districts won’t care if their accreditation is taken but if they didnt have that accreditation it would be real bad for the student trying to apply to good colleges or get recommended for scholarships.

In my opinion this can be a very, very bad idea for some people. In some place it would obviously force the parents to take their kids to another school which can cost them hundreds more. If thats not bad enough thier child could be part of the problem and it could possibly cause the new school to have the same troubles. Really it all comes down to the parenting of those kids. Yes it may have something to deal with the district but still.

Sit back for a minute and think… whats the biggest thing right now? What do people do every single second they have? They txt right well how many messages do you think is sent a day by each person that has the privlage. The facts are one in three americans send over 100 messages a day! Three quarters of 12 to 17 year olds own phones and the only time that teens accualy make a call is when they are talking to parents or grandparnts athough the older part of america are slowly getting the ich for a text. Fourty three percent of teen take thier phone into the classroom and send at least one text a class period even though they are banned. So who is texting the most, studies show that send and recieve at least 80 a day while the boys send 30. Girls like to text thier friends just to say hello and opposed to the 46 percent of the boy that would just rather get to the  point. 83 percent of cell phone users use thier phone to take a picture while 64 percent love to just share thier pictures.

Who woulda thought… all of this is very obvious and isnt really news worthy at all. Many parents that bought thier kid a phone that thought that they would never be one of the millions of teens that constantly have thier thumbs moving faster then a mouth can talk they are rudely mistaken. No matter how much they try to keep that type of thing from happening it will only be taking more and more money out of the parents pocket just let them its the next best thing from taking thier phone away completly.

26 year old Amy winehouse was back in the hospital the other day but this time it was for her breast implants. She is working hard day after day trying to get her life back together while working on her third album. Although most of her trips to the hospital land her a nice bill for more then just a day. That last one only kept her there for just the one. The last time she was in the hospital it was for a medical reaction that involved over the counter meds that had a chemical reaction with some other medication in her system. Earlier in the year the famous singer had pleaded guilty for common assult and dissorder which had saved her from some jail time. She admitted she had too much to drink and thats what really caused it all. Amy had also been in and out of rehab.

It really sad just seeing how messed up she gets at times. She looks like she is to drinks away from death but she still continues to do all of what she thinks is what she needs. Its no wonder about why she is back in to the hospital athough i would be lien if i told you it didnt supprise me at all. I just would think that it would have been a little more dramatic.

On April 6th of 2010 a man broke a record that most people thought would never be broken again, we were all proven wrong. Mohr Keet became the oldest man to ever bungy jump. He broke the record by ten years at the age of 96!!!! With the help of crewmen on Bloukrans Bridge Keet jump at a hight of 216 meters!! It hapenes to also be the worlds hightest commerical bridge. It was not Mohrs first time at the jump hes gone three times before that and every time he comes he says hes is still scared to make the jump. Who wouldnt be its the rush that make it as fun and inense as everyone says it is. He does it just for the reason to overcome that fear. Keets daughter jumped right after him at the age of 72!! After coming back up from the world breaking jump when as how was, he said quote “I was poop scared.” Face Adrenaline summited Keets jump to the Guinness Book of World Records.

This is one of the most amazing stories ive ever read in the news or in a magazine. Who ever knew that a man not only living longer then most people do hes also doing the things that most people less than half of his age is to chicken to even make the drive up there. Its just so incredible that a man four years short from living to be a century is jumping from incredible hights. Hes got guts and the heart of a 20 year old. I give him props!!!

Just recently, as you may know, Obama signed a new health care bill that he had promised during the election campaign. The democratic part were trying to get thins bill pasted through office for nearly a century. What the bill does is it expands health insurance to over thirty-two million more Americans by preventing the insurance companies from denying who are sick, have pre-existing conditions, elderly Americans, and all the sick children. Obama pushed for this bill to pass not only for all the people currently fighting their insurance companies but also for his mother that was one of them. She fought her insurance company up until her final days while living with caner. The republicans voted no to the issue for the fact that it would give government to much control over the health care system. After the bill was passed Obama spoke yet again to the crowd saying it was not his victory but it is thiers and its the victory of America.

I never would have thought that any body, that is as sophisticated as that and a house full of hundreds of member both of and against, would be chanting things in the house trying to get a bill passed. It is one of the biggest victories that the democrats have ever won since Obama was sworn into office. This means so much to many people around the United States whether their democrat or republican. Its a painful situation if a little infant child is trying to fight caner and failed because their insurance company wouldnt allow them to get all of the proper medication they needed to fight it. So to me. why does it really matter that the government has to much control over it. People like that will never be denied that pain ever again. Of course there are always loop holes for the druggies but its a small price to pay considering all the other things that are going to be changed.

 Just like all girls in the world a man can go through just as many hair styles in just a few years. Now in this article were talking about all the crazy do’s that made Tom Hank the ladies man he is today. Starting at number ten, the famous hair style of his latest movie Angles and Demons. At number nine, the 1986 film know as Splash, and number eight with hardly a change at all Big. Nearly five years later with a bit more of a tame at number seven Sleepless in Seattle. And at number six, more must mean less in his lawyer show Philadelphia and right behind followed a clean cut Mr. Forest  Gump at number five. At number four they backed it up a bit to 1995 for Apollo 13, then a huge jump to the famous caveman look in cast away for number three. Then at number two Hank pulls off the professor look for Lady Killers the to the last but not the least we turned a complete circle for The Da Vinci Code, sporting a full head of hair and some volume to go along side with it.

            I got a ton of laughs out of the pictures in this article. Tom Hanks has been a huge star way back before I was born and still I have yet to see all the films. Hanks seems to be one brilliant man and I guess his hair puts the cherry on top of the ice cream. Just recently Hanks has become Americas Historian in Chief. Way well maybe well start with the films he has played in and the history behind it all starting with Saving Private Ryan and Band of brothers all the way to The Da Vinci Code and its sequel Angels and Demons.  Who ever knew a brilliant and talented actor can teach the world so much about the history within a movie.

Yesterday around 4:00 o clock there was a car accident that occurred on highway 50. A man in a tractorwas killed and a woman and son injured currently in the pueblo hospital. The man was 64 years old Paul Bregar and was said to be pinned under the tractor. Was was said to have happened was as the mini van was attempting to past the slow moving vehicle the tractor drove diagonally into the passing lane. without enough reaction time the van was hit as the tractor frantically tried to hurry back to the other side of the road, an continued til it had tipped over on its side. The injuries to the woman was a broken hand and a broken foot, the son a broken arm and leg with stitches inserted in the head.

The woman was ethans mother and his brother when we heard the news without knowing how anyone was doing we all fell in silence. Its hard wondering if someone you are very close to are ok. Ethan was surprisingly calm and just wondered. Im so happy that everyone is ok, and that everyone got to go an see them. The reason they are still in the hospital is because Ryan need some surgury on his arm. Thank God thats the worst that came to them.

Over 379,000 Honda vehicles have been recalled due to armful airbags. The problem is that the air bags deploy with to much pressure causing damage to anything in it path. The inflator casing will crack that can even cause death. It originally started July of 2009 with a very small amount but expanded because of the uncertainty that the inflator would function without it. The good news is that if your vehicle is one of them they will be calling your house for instructions on how to get it fixed. Last month Honda had another recall for 646,000 other cars for a death caused by a fire hazard from the power windows in South Africa.

Dont buy a Honda or Toyota they may be the best ones to saving the planet but not best on keeping you from death. Its really bad when the safety feature is killing you or when you just want to get some air in the car by rolling down the window. Yes we all need a reliable car but we will never know when something can go horribly wrong.

Every year football fans all around the US get together and take the time out of their week to prepare for it all. But what you didnt know was that 51 percent of viewers said they enjoy the commercials instead of the actual game. It the one time of the year that we stay and sit waiting anxiously for the humor to pop up. It keeps everyone talking about it for weeks and the best of the best get inducted into the hall of fame. Just to get an ad to play durning the game could cost one company millions, might as well make it good right. From budlight to blockbuster then from pepsi to e trade we get together and find the best, the most talked about through the year was the famous baby on e trade.

I think that e trade will get the funniest ad for this year theyve been dishing it out all year and buwisers got to break thier streak sometime. Pepsi might give them a run for thier money to though.
